Ice cold
Winter is here. This year we even got real ice and snow - a rare sight here in Berlin, where it’s mostly just grey and cold (but not cold enough) most years.

I am trying to stay motivated during the last stretch before Christmas. This should help!
I have been on the hunt for the Dragon Quest DS and 3DS games here in Berlin: three stores and no luck! I guess eBay wins again… But at least I got to experience this very (!) overwhelming shelf at one of the stores (Freeman Games).
As you might know, Hollow Knight is one of my favourite games. So when I saw this cute throw blanket on Fangamer, I – also a lover of all things cozy – was very excited. Still am! That’s why I’m writing this post: to let you all know that such a thing exists!
The state of game merch is truly fascinating. There are now so many great options to choose from – from cool desk mats to fancy pins, and yes, even cozy blankets.
How cool is this? A simple 3D‑printed case that turns your Apple Watch Ultra into a tiny phone. It doesn’t add much – just a bit of plastic so you can actually hold it – but that small tweak unlocks a perfect minimal phone: no buzzing on your wrist, no doom‑scrolling; just the essentials.
Honestly, it's kind of perfect.
(Ok, well, it's not perfect that it doesn't exist for my – admittedly dated – Apple Watch 6, but still! Maybe there will be a version for it someday!)
It is getting cold here in Berlin. I am really hoping for some snow this winter (actually, lots of it).
Looking through a window into another window into another window into…
A new coffee spot opened up in our neighborhood: Selca Café. I tried their Oreo cake and the matcha – both very good! They also offer onigiri and miso soup, which I am looking forward to trying next time.
